I'm Joey Marshall, a data scientist and survey methodologist who has spent my career making messy data answer important questions.
I've done that work across research, government, and industry. At Pew Research Center I studied global religious demography and its links to health and wellbeing. At Gartner I was a Senior Principal in quantitative analytics and data science. At the U.S. Census Bureau I built machine learning, record linkage, and propensity models on administrative data for the Community Resilience Estimates program, and served as the Census liaison to FEMA's National Response Coordination Center during Hurricanes Idalia, Helene, and Milton.
Today I'm VP of Data Science at Verasight, where I lead a data science team and own the technical direction for panel quality, data infrastructure, and AI adoption. Through Plot Points, I bring that same mix of methodological rigor and operational pragmatism to teams that need senior data leadership on a fractional basis.
